I needed to tansport my BMX bike last night and thought I would have to take the front wheel off. To my suprise, the bike fit in there with the wheel on like a glove. There is so much more room than you would expect in the MINI.

-microwave oven (in the box)
-Toaster oven (in the box)
-20 " flat screen TV(In the Box)
-2 end tables and a coffee table( ok these were disassembled and I took the pieces out of the boxes)
-5000 btu air conditioner(in the box)
-and this with 2 people(my wife and me of course)in the car

Right after I got mine, I won a 28 inch TV at the
VW dealer I had been visiting, test driving the
Golf. Just fit! (And the VW dealer was very nice
about it.)

Godspeed.

Oh my, that's classic... lol, (and congratulations, lucky).

"My" MINI dealer is adjacent to several other dealerships, and the first time I drove by the MINI dealer's, I accidentally parked my '93 Tercel (shhh, i knoww) in one of the other dealerships' parking spots.

It was not a blatant thing, it was a huge continuous tarmac lot, and I was more like in the DMZ in between the dealerships.

Anyhow, I was accosted immediately (not even out of my car yet) by 2 sales bots, both I think named Ken I. Hepyou

Anyhow, they weren't having a drawing for a TV or anything, but they darn sure couldn't abide a MINI customer parking on their turf. They both pointed "over there" simultaneously as they turned around to show me their backs and walk back inside. Guess they fixed my little red wagon, huh? (btw this was NOT a VW dealership... I got loads of Good VeeWee mojo saved up, from back in the day, and I'm sure I coulda parked THERE)...

So, a bad start to a good night, i guess - by the way, I discovered I can fit an entire (fully assembled) obnoxious 10 yr old KID in a MINI boot. Made this discovery at the Chicago Auto Show, where the atmosphere is a bit more circus-like than that inside a dealer showroom

long-winded & off topic (attempted topic-rescue there at the end),
TAtt
