R50/53 MINI Lease
I'm leasing a MINI but the dealer lease doesn't seem all that good to me. I'm considering leasing from a leasing company. Has anyone leased a MINI from the dealer or from a leasing company? I'd like to know what you thought so I could compare the two leases.
Thanks
Thanks
I've leased several cars through leasing companies. Their interest rates, termination fees, buyout amount, etc. tend to be better than dealers. Just make sure you know exactly every penny you're obligating yourself to (over mileage fees; disposition fee; deposit; registration; UDrive It permits ($15 in KY); early termination fee; etc.)
I was going to use leaseprime.com - and I recommend them. However, when my MINI arrived a few days early and BMW came within several dollars per month of leaseprime, I did the lease with BMW and drove my car home 2 hours after it came off of the truck.
If you chose an outside leasing company, just make sure you get everything set BEFORE your MINI arrives. I had an unforseen setback, so I didn't get the ball rolling with leaseprime until the day before my MINI arrived. Paperwork must be faxsed and sent by overnight mail so it takes a good 4 or 5 days to complete instead of the 20 minutes it took with BMW financing.
Email Leaseprime - the broker's name is Pete. He'll help you - just tell him what you're looking for (length of lease, miles, down payment, etc...). He'll tell you the payments, the moneyfactor and the residual. Then you can bring those to BMW and see what they can do.
