I posted a thread in the stock problems forum about my airbag light and the fact that it will cost me almost $1000 to correct (my wife got t-boned a year ago in a van with no side airbags and if the other car had been three inches higher she would have likely lost her spleen...so I'd really like to restore my side airbag functionality).

With $1000 already staring me in the face, I was wondering if there was a Recaro seat option with a side airbag that would fit in my R53 and if so, how much would that cost me?

e-bay usually has intact front seats for the mini cooper listed. usually about $500 for a pair shipped. less if you want only one. expensive?, maybe but less than $1000

 

Who has upgraded to the Reccaro seats? How much, and was it worth it. I have the stock heated leather seats and happy so far with them.
