Has anyone put quick release hubs and a new wheel?

Why would you put a quick release wheel on a car with cruise control? Makes no sense....

I'm sure you could strip the buttons from the wheel and mount them someplace else, but I have to agree... If you are putting a quick release on it's time to ditch the CC. Probably the only reason I haven't replaced my wheel yet.

 

why the hell does a cooper come with Cruise control? I thought we bought our cars to drive

 

Im also looking to put a quick release on my cooper s its an 04 and i can not for the life of me find which hub i need at all please someone shed some light for me links if you can

 

I use cruise control everytime i'm around known speedtraps or on the highway. It's good for people like me who have a lead foot and shallow pockets.
