So I recently installed the springs on my 06 r50,

How the heck do you reach the lca bolt? The gas tank is in the way!

IIRC, just put the socket on first, then the ratchet on the socket. If it won't fit, you need different socket set (as in you have only deep ones)

What HRM said. You will want to insert your socket in the big hole on the subframe first. Once it's sitting on the bolt, connect your ratchet to the socket. If it still won't fit, you may need to hit up your local sears tools department. The socket will need to be long enough so that it doesn't sink too much in the subframe that your ratchet can't connect to it and if you have a bulky ratchet, you may want to look for one with a flatter head.
