Changed the fuel filter, for the first time, on my 2005 base. Now it will not self prime (no fuel).

Had the filter kit with the diesel gaskets, went in a 2nd time and put the original back (they look fine) still no fuel ..................

Took it apart the 3rd time to no avail and now I am tired and frustrated or maybe that should be old (67) and grumpy.

Any ideas, really could use some help.
