05' R50 code 1688...belt?
Hey,
just had the ignition coil replaced and now i'm throwing a p1688 code. Is this a belt issue? IDK where to start with this since everyone else with this code seems to have a problem with the bypass valve on thier supercharger which I don't have. any ideas?

Side track a little. What did you use to detect fault codes? A computer with the necessary software and a OBD link cable and that's it? I am a stranger to this but I'm interested to get myself a set to perform my own diagnostic checks.
