Happened to do a search for parts for the MINI today on Craigslist and ran across this R50 with a busted CVT for cheap in the DC/Baltimore area.

I'm not picking it up, but figured I'd forward on my find here just in case someone might be interested in a parts car...

Ha, that's what I paid for my car with a blown Midlands, an excellent body, and slightly more miles, but in the best color (BRG/WH). I guess that's what they go for. I still think I paid too much.

 

I sent two e-mails from different addresses asking about it, saying I'm interested in a father-son project and are there some pictures that they could send. No response- they have either sold it or have decided to keep it. Just an FYI.
