Greetings and welcome

After lurking and searching here I found that evidently the upper motor mount is one of the most common items to fail on the R53.

It’s also one of the easiest DIY.

I was looking because when we bought our 05 this summer there was evidence of a serious leak.

Here’s what I found when I searched “mount” in the “Stock Problems/Issues” forum.

I recently bought a replacement one for my 06' MCS from Waymotorworks and it came very quickly.

Install was fairly straight forward, the hardest part is getting to the star bolt on the bottom of the mount. Other then that, I did it myself in about an hour while taking my time and I would consider myself at an intermediate technical level, im not a pro by any means.

take your time and it should be fairly straight forward.
