Does your R53 clock keep good time?

My 2005 R53 clock runs about 10 to 15 minutes fast each week! Drives me crazy. Any fix??????

Mine appears to be about 1 minute slow over 3 months. Not a big deal. I think 10 or 15 minutes a week is a bit excessive.

This seems to pop up every once in a while....
I think , from memory, the problem usually goes away when somebody gets updated software...
Mine has alwats been good, but have seen/heard of many folks with the clock issue....imo the new software is a $$ fix for a minor issue...so get a ¢99 lcd clock you stick to the dash till you have a reason to get the software update....

Mine ends up about 7-10 minutes fast over the course of a week or two.

Zip -- Your memory is likely better than mine, but I thought the issue was hardware, not software; regardless, replacing the speedo unit or getting the software update for 5-10 minutes accuracy on the clock is likely not worth it.

Artoo, my 2003 MCS clock is slow. About 3-4 seconds a day which adds up to more than a minute a month. I always thought it was unacceptable but I have gotten used to it. There is no fix. Just a badly designed digital clock.

What other issues does the software update fix?
And for what cost?
