R50/53 New Owner
New Owner
Found a 2006 R53 S with 32k miles on it. Coming home tomorrow.
Tips for my first weekend with it (besides drive it like Steve McQueen)?
Non-obvious maintenance items to check up on?
Seems to be in really good shape other than one item - the driver side bonnet strip is black. In the middle of it, there's about a quarter sized white spot where the black has worn off. Can't imagine what that's about - hints, tips?

Check out the buyers guide. A bit late, but it will tell you what to look for.
As for the stripe, likely got some crud on it and worked a *little* too hard to get it off. Might be able to mitigate with a sharpie, short of getting a new set.
Congrats, and welcome to NAM!

Stripe kits are cheap (and varying degrees of quality) on the 'bay and simple to R&R. I'd opt for a new set, seeing as the car is in such fine shape otherwise.
