05' MINI Cooper S Purple Haze 2 dr. coupe
Drove my 05" MINI Cooper S new out of the showroom March 18, 2005 with 7 miles on at; it now has 125,000 miles with original clutch, supercharger, struts/shocks, engine and everything else works perfect. Replaced the original muffler 2 years ago with a Miltek stainless. Original battery was still working when I replaced it in 2016. Garaged 99% of the time plus utilizing a MINI authentic car cover when not home.
Seriously hoping for another 13 plus years with this car.

First post! 102k mi on my 2010. Just purchased my first MINI 3 weeks ago for my daughter's college grad gift as she is going to law school. She has been wanting a MINI for a long time so I finally pulled the trigger. I am really surprised how much fun I have had driving this little car; I never expected to enjoy it this much. Before I give it to her I did some things to the car that from my research seem to be par for the course considering the mileage:
- Cleaned all injectors and replaced one of them
- Replaced the valvecover
- Replaced the exhaust manifold and cat converter
- Replaced the alternator belt
- Replaced coil
- Installed 4 Continental all weather tires
- Oil change
The radio LED has missing pixels when it is hot outside so that needs to be addressed and then it is ready to go for her and will hopefully be a fun and reliable car for her.

Took a while ... 13 years, 10 months. Celebrating with a new fuel filter, oil pan, new headlight housings, new headliner and various other interior upgrades. That 250,000 mile fuel filter was quite a sight!
And an engine inspection revealed an unbelievably clean interior. Thank you BG products!
