The bridger site indicates that projector beam xenons will be on the 2005 mc. What are projector beams and how do they differ from the current xenons? I did not consider getting xenons because of replacement costs, but seems that those who have them, love them. Any thoughts?

Yes, the immediate replacement cost is higher, however the service life of a HID bulb is at the very least 3 times that of a halogen bulb. Factor in whiter light (closer to sun-light), greater lumunous intensity, and a built in headlight washer feature, and I'd say that the Xenon option isn't all that bad a value.

I'm not sure exactly how the reflector design differs from '02-'04 versus '05+; my guess is the end result is mostly aesthetic.

Cheers,
Ryan

i really like the look of xenons and they are much brighter but I opted to not get them as I was trying to keep my costs down. Plus, I've never had them so I figured I wouldn't miss them.
