Hey all! Longtime lurker, however I haven't done much posting/lurking in the last few months so I'm a little out of the loop. Car is an '03 electric blue r53 named Scooter, with 80 couple thousand miles. I'm due for a service relatively soon (~2k miles) and was wondering how exhaustive this service is and if there are any shops outside of the dealership network that do these services. I live in south-central Pa, about 20 minutes away from Gettysburg if that helps... Thanks for all the help!

 

soopercooperinfo.com has an independent service shop list that is still growing. There are a brazillion other links to just about everything for MINI there too. Hope it helps.

 

Thanks! Any ballpark figures on cost/time/things to be wary of?
P.S. The insert on my shift **** has gone missing... anybody know where I could get another one? I've been able to find the checkered and union jack ones in several places but nothing seems to look as good as the oem. Unfortunately, sourcing one without the entire **** has proved fruitless...
