Power steering fluid

Just wondering if there are other options of fluid available not at the dealer to top off the PS fluid level?
Thanks for the input

Just noticed the manual doesn't even label the power steering cap in the engine compartment diagram as a location for maintenance. Is it assumed that you never look at the PS fluid level? I'm assuming it is the small reservoir & cap right next to the coolant expansion tank?

Power steering fluid

Yes that's the power steering reservoir.
Unless you have a leak you should not have to top it off.
As an example I have not touched mine, other than to check, for 50,000 miles.

Since you have a first gen car Pentosin CHF 11s is the proper fluid for the power steering.
I have no idea as to the availability or suitability of other fluids for you to use.

Hope this helps...
