Any aftermarket alternative to the OE junky pot-metal muffler hangers?

'06 MCS with about 65k miles on the clock. I noticed the muffler is hanging low again on the passenger side. Its the POS muffler hanger. It broke a few years ago and I replaced it. Now its broken again. The part is cheap and relatively easy to replace with the right rear wheel removed, but c'mon...this is the weakest piece of metal I have ever encountered on an automobile. Its pathetic. Any aftermarket options available? Maybe I need to learn welding and make my own?

I had the same thing happen and just removed the resonator (one ball mod). It changes the tone a bit, but in no way makes it loud or obnoxious.
