Overriding or Manually operating headlight washers?

I have read many of the threads on how to turn them on. Is there a way that someone has tapped into them to use them whenever or "switch controlled?"

I have never seen mine work. I should check these threads on turning them on!

If equipped, they activate every 4th time you wash the windshield i think if i remember right...

^That's what I've heard too but I seriously think mine work every time I use my washers.

My Mini IS equipped with it and they do NOT work. That is why I am trying to find a manual way to get them to come on to check it from there. If they work manually then it's something in the brain work from the windshield washer lever to the HL squirters themselves. If they don't come on at all ... then I start over.
