HELP!!! Stuck in Orland, CA... Need a MINI shop

I need singed help everyone.... I was on my way home to Eugen, OR. When I pulled over got some gas in Orland, CA. I got on the on ramp to I-5, was up to 40 mph, and than it started to run funny. Got the check engine light checked, it was Misfire in #3. Plugged the plug and it was Dark. The shitty thing is I changed them 1 1/2 months ago. I put new plugs in and its doing the same thing. I now thinking maybe a bad fuel injector?

My question is, does anyone around know where I can take my MINI, The closes big town is Redding, CA. About 50-60miles away. Anyone from there that knows a place.

I goibg stop by a garage here that the guy from O'Reiley told me to stop by. But they are not MINI shop. Please help with any advise. Need to be back home in eugene by Tuesday.

Thanks
Mike

Thats what I am thinking. I filled up almost 10gals. But would it make the spark plug dark. The others were dark, but not as bad as #3... Had no ploblems all week on our 1500 mile trip, til we got the gas.

Thanks for the imput. Anyone else??

Call Steve at http://www.o2motorsports.com/ in Redding. He has a GP and a bunch of classics. He knows his stuff. Good Luck.

If it's #3 look at the coil post for 3. They are notorious for rusting out. It could have built up enough that it quit fireing.

So. I just got a call back and the cool pack went BAD. the wierd thing I changed mine last sept. With the MSD coil pack, cause I saw rusting on #3. But I didnt change the plug wires.
Getting a new Coil pack and plugs today. Cant get MSD here, but not sure I want one again.

Does anyone know if MSD has a warrenty on their coil packs? Since its only 11 months old.

Thanks for the help everyone

Probably goes without saying, but get and keep your old parts in case you need to challenge MSD on this. 11 months is too early for a coil pack to go bad. Besides, it might just be the plug wires, since you hadn't changed them already.
