My dash board has been emitting a flexing plastic sound. If you take your fingers and push on the painted part of the dash, it makes the same sound. Anyone else experiencing this?
It happens when going over all the bumps.

Mine does it to a bit now that it is cold out. I just press on the dash a bit and it goes away. Normally I just turn the radio up a bit more to drown it out. I hear it is kind of common. Take it to the dealer if it really bugs you. You should be able to fix it.

I'm too lazy to go to the dealer....too much of a pain in the **** dealing with dropping it off and being late to work and having to worry about a ride. I'd rather fix it myself if possible. Does anyone know if there is a fix? It's not a big deal, but would be nice if I could quiet things up.

Cold temperatures make the metal/plastic clips that hold the "painted" dashboard plastic trim, creak and groan when driving over rough pavement. Your best bet is to carefully take out these pieces and apply some grease on the clips to dampen them and eliminate the noise.

Not worth bothering with the dealer for that.

Ok, yeah I was wondering if the cold was responsible.
Are there any links to instructions/pics on how to remove those pieces?

Thanks!
