R50/53 show me your modified mini's!!!!!
Nice, I spend my time driving, fabing, and helpin people In my club. If you question my car? Ok cool look at the isuse of mc2 with the pub event it was out in April I beleave. My old msc is under the mark key. And that event rases money for kids that have nothing. About 5k.
Have a beer on me mate!!! And I mean that.
I'm a car guy, so I love places like this for the information people share and to appreciate what others have done to their cars. I never understood the puffery that comes with some on the net. Now to search a little to find out why the hell my drivers door won't unlock with the key fob and how to fix it.
Alright. I'm bringing this thread back. However, all of you need to knock off the name calling, disrespectful posts, and general BS. If we see any more of it, this thread will be locked and burned into oblivion, and infractions will follow.
Play nice or go find a different playground.

Thanks for getting this back up and open Wandrur. Sorry it went south.
Hope to see more of the modded first generations that are out there. Saw a sweet red with black here in Windham CT yesterday and wanted to stop and check it out. I miss when my car was a street car! Everytime I drive someones R53, I forget just how much fun they are.

I think we can start using the term "classic" with these cars
. Yours is that classic looking early Mini. Really really nice!

Now that all the bickering has subsided I might as well subscribe back to this thread.
If you all havent heard my car, post #6, is in need of a new engine due to a rod bearing failure.
Good news is, I now have a ferfect excuse to do a full build on the motor.

Healey, you're EB was the reason why I went with EB on my first MINI. One of my favorite looking MINI's to date. FANTASTIC. More pictures please. In fact lets start a whole thread for you.

Can be a fun place. Just a bad day for some.
