I've been waiting patiently for my MCS to be delivered since ordering it in December. You know, checking the OL, finding the Cargo ship it's on (Galaxy Leader) and trying to find the ship on the Marine Observation site (still can't find that boat yet!). So my little CR/W MINI has been on the high seas since 1/12.

Just yesterday I visited the OL and they finally updated my status to 'En Route' but the delvery time is now set to 3/22/04! That's two months from now - is this normal for a west coast delivery? I was told by my MA that I should recieve the car by early February. Anyone in SoCal have such delays?

I was basically told the same thing by my MA, I ordered my
car in October and was expecting an end of January delivery.

 

Hang in there! I waited 5 months for my MCS (didn't pay over MSRP). The car is so unique and fun to drive that it's worth the wait. 6,400 trouble free miles so far and is tight as a drum.

 

i can't imagine how you guys can wait that long to get your cars.

 

It will be almost a year for me!!

 

I've read that it takes maybe 4 weeks to get to the west coast so that means my car should be on land by early February. So according to the estimated delivery date of 3/22, the car will take almost 6 weeks to get from Port Hueneme, to VPC and to the dealer? Is that long or what?!
