I see that the console for the post 07/04 MCS has a cup in front of the handbrake.

I'd like to retrofit the newer console to my 09/02 build MCS.

The tire pressure reset switch is in the front of my console.

Does anyone know if the switch is in the same place on the 05 model - under the handbrake?

Should fit no problem. Go for it. This is a common mod on older MINIs.
