I just talked with a customer service rep at 866-ASK MINI. The info that she provided was quite limited and basically did not match the info that I was told on an earlier call. Every specific question that I had was basicly answered 'you should contact your dealer'. For example, I had recently changed my order from a sport steering wheel to the new 3 spoke wheel. When I asked if they had that change recorded, she would only say that there was a steering wheel on order. After asking the same thing for 2 or 3 times, she finally confirmed that it was a 3 spoke wheel. On my last call, several weeks ago, I was told what my production start would be. When I tried to confirm that date on this call, she would only say that I had a 'requested' production start date, what ever 'requested' means, but she wouldn't tell me what the date was. Basically, the info she provided was lacking and left me disapointed. The call was almost worthless, except now I've had my 1st poor contact with Mini. Has anyone received poor info from ASK MINI?
