What does the Service Mileage mean when you turn the ignition to the "On" Position but don't turn the engine on. I just got an oil change on my R53 S and thought that is what it meant but the guys at the dealer said that isn't what it means. Could you guys give me some insight as to what type of service would be needed.

I thought the same thing but was told by the dealer that the counter isn't reset for an oil change because it counts down to the next inspection service visit.
