R50/53 Another Snow Question
I am just wondering if there is any good way to drive in the snow and ice. It has snowed here for the first time and I had a hard time getting home. I have the s-lites and runflat tires right now. I have DSC yet all my tires do is spin, spin, spin. I also can't start once I am stopped especially on hills. Any help would be nice.

Try turning off the DSC, and start off in second gear, get a set of all season tires for the winter...runflats don't get it done in the snow, some have reported picking up a set of 15" steel rims and blizzak tires to use in the winter.
Being in the northeast I new I would be driving in winter conditions, so I chose the 15" wheels with all season tires for my Cooper and they have been fine in the snow. A side benefit of the 15" All Seasons is a softer ride too.
