Storing MINI
I just got transferred to San Antonio from Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, my MINI has to stay behind for about 6 months 
and I wanted to know any tips on how to maintain my MINI while I am away. It will stored inside a garage, I am also planning to wash and wax it before putting a cover. My main concern is with engine and electronics. Any tips? Also, any recommendations of a good mechanic in the San Antonio TX area? Motoring clubs? Thank you

Welcome to San Antonio! My wife works at Fort Sam and there are plenty of military MINIs on post. I'm actually looking for a good MINI mechanic as well. I think I recall one discussed on these boards, but in Austin. The poster named K-Huevo might have a good mechanic suggestion for you.
