So, has anyone else gotten the "market research survey" letter in the mail? It has you go to a web site from an "Independent" research firm and answer a bunch of questions as to why you bought your Cooper S. It starts off pretty generic, but at the end it becomes obvious that Ford is behind it, as it asks several questions about why you didn't buy a Focus SVT instead.

I guess the Ford people are trying to get inside the heads of MINI owners! FWIW, I wrote in that I didn't buy an SVT Focus because it was too heavy, lacked the MINI's safety features, and had poor build quality.

Just wondering how widespread the survey was, and what other people's reactions to it were.

You'd think Ford would save some money and just have some college interns go to internet message boards to learn why people like MINIs and don't buy Ford products. :smile:
