R50/53 Best way to disable car from starting (for compression test)?

Best way to disable car from starting (for compression test)?

Would it simply be pulling the plug wires and the fuel pump relay?

You want all your spark plugs out so yes no leads attached. Also disconnect coil wire.

Ended up unplugging the fuel pump relay and ran the car until it died. Then pulled all the wires, and one plug at a time. Cranked the motor for 10 seconds with the throttle open and came up with these results:

#1 175 #2 170 #3 180 #4 181

10% variation from 180 is 18 psi so I think I'm pretty good!

This test was done cold BTW.

Very good numbers. How many miles are on the car and is it an '02?

02 MCS with 79200 on the block and an 05 head with 30k on it.
