Yeah, the Wards article has been posted before (that link is from January afterall), but it's still worth revisiting.

Darn thing was nigh invulnerable, so long as you changed the oil and belts as scheduled.

Power trains were never an issue at Chrysler until the '80s, but then name me an american company that didn't have problems in the '80s.

 

FYI, I've had a link to a PDF of that article on my site for many months. The article was written back in Jan. There was a thread about it but looks like the site search only goes back 3 months. Thanks for re-posting for those who haven't seen the article.
