Ouch. MINI gives own life, saves driver. Take a look at the Cooper S's first airbag deployment in the States. Pretty amazing.

Yeah, but who posted the pics in the Member MINIs gallery of the banged up dark silver S? Anyone know? Looks like Washington state plates on the surrounding cars. That really is a shame- so new it doesn't even have plates on it! Someone must be right now.
