But anyways, my MINI shipped yesterday from Southhampton ridin on the Madame Butterfly, and should reach N.Y. on the 20th. Im so excited!!!! just a couple more weeks until i unite with my Indi Blue baby :D

Btw, How long does it usually take from the VPC to reach the dealership?? Mine is in Illinois. TIA

2perCooper,
Glad to hear you are closing in on your date of arrival.
You might call your dealer and ask that question based on past shipments.
I would figure a week or two.
Enjoy.

I picked mine up in Chicago (Naperville). I'd expect about 2 weeks including getting it prepped at the dealership. Then, you might be surprised if it is closer to one. I agree, though, your MA would probably be able to tell you pretty precisely once it clears customs. That is a variable.

Worth the wait? Yup!

Are you still able to track the vessel across the ocean? That was the funnest part that I had when I ordered my MINI

Here is a site on boat tracking.

Also if you go to page 42 of the November club you will find where Pebbles has posted two maps to help locate vessels. These are linked so that they are always up to date.

Figure a week at the VPC and maybe a week to Illinois? My dealer was about 45 minutes from the VPC. I think it spent 6 days at the VPC. I took it home within a matter of hours after it was released from the VPC! One year and one month later, 29k miles of smiles!
