Anyone know how to replace the center high-mount brake lamp?

i just got an '03 mini and i need to replace the middle brake light that's at the top of the back window. in the owner's manual, there aren't any instructions...it just says "LED strip on the tailgate". i'd really rather replace this myself if i can. the dealer will probably charge a lot and i'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment. any help?

Open the tailgate, remove two screws from underneath, yank it out, should say remove it from the outside. Unplug the wires, replug the wires to the new light, put it in place, install two screws, viola, done. Should take about five mintues or less YD

Might want to consider getting one of the 3rd brake pulsars from gominigo.com
