Have been given a late November production date.....

 

I went into production around October 20th and was loaded onto a ship on 11/3. The ship will take 7 days to get to NYC, arriving on 11/10. After that I don't know how long to clear the docks and be taken to my dealer which is 30 miles away.

Depends on the dealer, number of allocation, location and model purchased. I waited 10 months for mine since placing the order to delivery. Your times may vary. A late November production date could mean that you maybe taking delivery around the middle of December. If you are in the East coast, the time it takes transporting the car from Southampton to Charleston, SC is around 12 days at sea. Give anywhere between 1 to 4 days at the VPC if everything goes smoothly and then another day or so at the dealer while they prep the car.

I ordered my MCS on Sept. 13, given a production date of 10/17 which was pushed to 10/24, booked for shipment on 10/26 and has arrived in New York 11/3. Should be at the dealer soon.

I don't know if this is general, but I hope this gives you some idea.

I ordered my MC end of June 2003, it was in production starting July 4 weekend finished by July 18, and wasn't at my dealer until September 5. And was being delivered in Memphis, TN, which if I wanted it delivered to CA, would have added another 2 weeks probably.
