Steering wheel swap 2-3 spoke "No Horn"

Hi, I recently changed over from a two spoke R53 wheel to a three spoke JCW wheel. Now my horn does not work? A specialist had a look and recons; the JCW is a multi function wheel, although it has no buttons, and has blanked carbon fibre spokes fitted.

The wheels is for the R53 MINI. I bought a seperate three spoke Airbag unit, all for the R53 MINI. All the cables pluged in to the car, although I am sure I remember seing a spare plug from the wheel? Could this be the problem, or does it lay with the Airbag? Slip Ring?

I am not sure what to do, can you help?

After more research, i found that there is a brown clip which is attached to the three spoke, i remember this being spare. I found NO place to attach it too. Could this be why the horn is not working? Is it an earth, were can I find this on the R53?

doing the swap as well right now. I found that you dont even have to have the air bag in to blow the horn rather if you push on the metal plates in the center it will honk.

sorry i dont think that helps
