My first MINI! Yay!
It's an '06 MCSm w/ 60k miles. I had to drive over an hour to go see it and when I got there the guy said the battery was totally dead and wouldn't charge. So I rode w/ him to Pep Boys and he got a new battery there. We installed it and noticed there was a lot of "water" in the battery compartment. I'm not sure if this was from the battery or what. The battery has a vent hose and that may not have been hooked up right, plus he probably tried to overcharge it.

Anyway, got to test drive it (only around the neighborhood unfortunately because no tag) and it was quite nice. Definitely a huge step-up over the '03 I tested a month ago. I wasn't aware of this before I went to see it but it does have some sort of spring kit on it that makes it a tad lower and also an M7 pulley.

The seats are black leather w/ red suede. That was kind of neat. Also has the Harmon Kardon sound but w/ an in dash dvd player and 400w JL Audio amp. That part wasn't of huge concern to me though... haha.

The guy is the only owner and has all the service records for it. It also has 7 months left on the extended warranty! :D
The price was $14,500. I'll be picking it up on Wednesday.

oh, and I quoted my insurance costs and my premium increase was $0.00! haha

Congrads. BTW those wheels look sick with that MINI. Love the red, but dark silver will always be my favorite.
