Has anyone found their MPG's to be better or worse with DSC on or off? I'm simply wondering... Secondly, I have a question about the upper radiator hose on my `03 R50 (at least until UPS delivers my shop manual...)... While I was at THE DEALER last week for an initial check-up I went ahead and grabbed myself an upper radiator hose (as the upper hoses fail at least twice as often as lower hoses - and I think I still have the original on this rig - and as I do a good bit of ruralesque driving...in the mountains...AWAY from dealers/parts places, etc...). So I buy the hose, and then get home and peek under the hood, and then I see that it's a 'two-part' upper hose (two separate pieces)...the two being connected/joined by a plastic pipe (tee?) - sort of in the middle. The dealer sold me the longer of the two pieces, but does not the other part come with it (?) - or shouldn't they have at least mentioned that there was another part that I might wish to purchase?? Lastly: is this hose a nightmare to change-out - or what - please? Thanks in advance, g.........................

 

FWIW, I have found that DSC has no effect on mileage.
