R50/53 Another AIDA MINI comes home.
Finally picked up my MINI Cooper, Bertie, Friday morning. A beautiful BRG/white and bonnet stripes with the sport and cold weather pkg. I have fallen in love with the little guy. Very zippy and a blast to drive. It really likes to get to the upper RPMs in ahurry. Will have to watch that in the break-in period.
A word of warning to those getting bonnet stripes, though. Check them carefully. One of mine had a cluster of air bubbles underneath. (The problem with them being decals instead of paint) It was hard to notice unless the light was reflecting just right, but still... The dealer rep said they would fix them, so it is not a big deal.
The other thing I have noticed now that I have 74 motoring miles is the seat. The lumbar support is a little intrusive if you know what I mean. I am having a difficult time getting the seat to adjust into the comfort zone. Any helpful hints?

Poor docdesi! My MINI (Lucy) came home on Monday... she is less than a week old and has almost 500 miles on her already! What fun to drive! It is like you are always in a parade with all the waving!
I am sure your baby will be home momentarily!
