hi everyone im new to the forum just tryin to dig into the cooper cutlure a little. i currently own a 93' rx7 and a 94' mitsubishi montero, the latter of which i will be selling in effort to find a new, slightly smaller, definatly more fuel efficient car. the mini cooper-s is high on my list right now. i like the fact that the car handles well also, the rx7 is a very track worthy car but i tend to lean more towards 1/4 mile while buying parts for her and i want a car that is sutable for every day use and fun to drive. anyway i hope to get to know a few of you and your cars maybe meet up at an auto-x event or 2 if your in or near the tri-state area.

Welcome Fusaro! The BIG QUESTION-- Have you driven one yet? If so, what did you think. If not, get ye to thy dealer!

God speed.

Fusaro,
Aloha and welcome to MCO.
Decisions, decisions.
First give yourself lots of time to do test drives. I think we may not give ourselves enough time behind the wheel to really get to know our MINIs before we decide on Cooper vs Cooper S and CVT vs Manual.
While it is true that they all do pretty well, the handling and power of each is a little different.
Have fun.
