I lost my master key and went to dealer order another one, coded the new key and erased the old key. However, the old key is still able to open my car manually. esepecially the fuel tank cover is unlock and the bonet can be opened as well. I wanted to change the door lock and perpare to carry two key to drive my car, one for door and one for ignition. I search realoem and found there are two lock for the door and I don't know which one should order. Could someone help me and tell me what different between these two parts.

I live in Hong Kong and the drive side is right hand side, therefore the lock should install in right hand door. Thanks a lot.

 

I just bought a new master key from MINI but $160 usd.

 

local dealer charged me $215 for a master key and $32 for code the key into my car. I went to decode the old key once and code the new master key onece. Therefore they charged me $32 twice :(
