Help on cockpit chrono retrofit

I am trying to install the chrono pack gauges and tach/speedo set in my 'o4 MCS. I previously installed a JCW kit and downloaded the programming(I posted this in JCW Garage on NAM). I purchased what is supposed to be the correct parts from my local dealer and encoded them with Progman. The problem is the center set is not communicating properly with the tach/speedo(Kombi1). When I operate the turn signals the battery light flashes. The battery light is in the same position as the turn signal indicator on the original tach. This is only one example, there are others. The tech at the dealer said it should be plug-and-play other than encoding for mileage(which is correct in the new unit). The dealer suggested consulting NAM posts. I think that is a compliment to the NAM community! Is there anyone out there that can offer any help. Thanks.
