Powder Coating Brake Calipers..........

I just got new brake calipers that are oem silver, i want to powder coat them but im worried about when i put them in the oven if there were any seals that could get ruined or baked. I mean brakes are exposed to pretty high heat so i guess they could probably hold up.

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this, can they be safely powdercoated as is, and not dissasembling them or anything, other than getting them clear of all fluids and off the car.

Thanks

I would not want to put them in the oven with the seal intact, are you set against just painting them with something like G2 paint? I did mine a couple of years ago and they still look great... you do need to do a very good cleaning job on them first, but the powder coat option would also need good cleaning. Unless you want a 'show car' finish and look, I think you would like the G2 paint. Just a thought.
