2006 Sport Package?

I purchased my 06' base mini about a month ago. It claims to have the sport package installed but I am beginning to have my doubts that it is the FULL sport package and not just bits and pieces.

Can any of you awesome mini owners clue me in on what exactly came in the base model sport package in 2006?

I have the 5 star wheels (not sure if they are the 16 inch), spoiler, and the DTC. No bonnet stripes (which could be the preference of the previous owner)

My main concerns are the seats and the front fog lamps. My friend has an 04 mini with sport seats and while they are cloth and mine leatherette hers look MUCH more defined than mine. I am not sure if the fact that my seats are heated make a difference. They just look a lot different. Not the same seats that is for sure.

If someone could post a picture of sport seats in an 06 mini, and what the front fog lights look like in an 06 mini I would love you forever.

I ask because I have to take it in to the dealership I purchased it at to have them look at a 1 inch rip in the drivers seat that was there when I bought it (long story) and if they have to replace my seat I want sport and may press it with them since I paid for it.

Thanks in advance.

the sport seats havent changed all the way through the model run. from 02-06 the sport seats are all the same. if yours dont look like hers they are not sport seats. post a pic of your interior and im sure may on here will confirm whether or not you have the sport seats let alone the sport package. also I believe you can call up a Mini dealership and ask them to run your VIN and they can see all the exact options originally on the car.

hope this helps

smilezlie- mini is set up the same way except i have the stripes. The seats will look a little different being it has the cold weather package like mine. But the sport package is required to have the DSC installed.

Not sure if it was different with the base model, but on my S I didn't get the sport package and still was able to get DSC.

You can check on the tires to see if they're 16 inch. The bonnet stripes are easily removed if they weren't wanted or were in bad shape. You should have a toggle switch for the front fogs if you have them.

DSC was a separate option from the sport package. I didn't get the sport package for Quentin, but still got DSC.
