R50/53 Question about M7 tuning strut brace.
It will depend on how mushroomed your towers are. If it's very slight you can just put it on and it will pull the towers back into place. If they are worse then you will have to use a block of wood and some hammering to get them down enough to install. And if they are Really bad then you would have to replace the bent upper strut mounts and hammer down the sheet metal. We do them all the time here. Hope that helps.

Probably not. You can fix them yourself with a heavy rubber mallet and a 2x4. Just put the car up on jack stands and beat the heck out of the towers.......lol
If you want to save even more money, don't waste your funds on a strut brace unless you really just want the bling. They really don't add anything to the cars perfromance.
The best option for mushroom prevention, with the advantage of actually improving performance, is to get a set of camber plates.

Plenty of posts say yes though your bonnet is what you need to read about too. I put in an M7 and had all the same issues as a lot of folks. But it fits now and despite blogs to the contrary I believe the car is better for it. Read on my friend....plenty of help on this subject.
