Valvetrain Q

Just curious... do the valvetrains on -06 MCS and -08 MCSc have hydraulic valve-lifters?

I've looked at various photos and didn't see tappets. And does it require valve clearance adjustment if there're no hydraulic valve-lifters?

02 MCS ~ MCSc do have hydraulic lash adjusters.
Reading between the lines, if your hearing lifters tapping, check the oil level.

The singe overhead cam acts directly on the roller rocker arms. The rocker arm end for the valve has a hydraulic lash adjuster in the rocker arm. The #8 is pointing directly at the hydraulic lash adjuster in the rocker arm pictured.
