So, I was talking to my mother-in-law and she said that see saw a MINI with a badge " COOPER RS." So, I quickly google it and it was mentioned back in 2003 if it's true or not. Has anyone heard such things? I only found that there are "RS" parts...

 

Nope, not anything already exsisting. Only exsisting variations (if you could call them that) are 2004 MINI Cooper S MC40 (an anniversery tribute car to the multiple race victories in the 60's including Monte Carlo) and the 2006 MINI Copper S JCW GP, which the higher horsepowered GP is the closest to a "RS" variation, hence the spartan/lack of interior (no backseats, missing 4 speakers, no climate control, no sunroof, and no options available) and the lightweight bits like aluminun trailing arms, carbon fiber wing, delete rear wipers, and delete of sound deadening panels. I did hear rumors of a R56 GP, could be they might rebadge to RS, to keep GP a limited edtion, but that would most likley be at the end of R56s production run. Not sure whats in the works for R56 models, motoringfile.com keeps tabs on updates like that though.
