Hey all,

I am getting a new Mini shipped to me from out of state. It will be coming with NY state inspection stickers to Philly, PA. Should I take the car the closest dealer to get PA inspection or should I just take it to my local mechanic? Also, since the car is brand spanking new, will I have to get emissions inspection or will it be exempt?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Depends on what your state requires. I bought mine in NY but live in CA. I ended up registering the car myself but would have had to do the smog test either way. Check with your local DMV.
