Not sure if this belongs in Marketplace. Don't think so b/c I'm just commenting on the oddity of it. If so, please move.
The athletic boosters for the high school in my hometown are raffling an Electric Blue MINI Cooper S as a fundraiser. The odd thing is that they are selling 1,000 chances at $20 each. I can't figure out how they're making any $. Oh well, it has drawn some pretty big crowds at Friday night football games (parked in the end zone).
