i bought new because prices on used were too high for me--i wanted an 07 or newer--love the paddle shifters--a little slow in shifting though

I noticed Edmunds is a bit more realistic then KBB values.

Borught my VW GLI into Carmax for an apparaisa back in November and they were within $100 what Edmunds listes as trade in value.

Looked again and the value of my VW has dropped $3,000 in 4 months, doesn't bother me since it's a keeper.

The economy is what is killing buyers for our cars. I have sold my past two MINIs within one day of putting them up for sale, but my current one has been posted for almost a month with only a couple nibbles. I think I am like most people in that I'll just keep it if it doesn't sell for what I feel is a reasonable price. I've notice that only a couple cars have sold on ebay also, most not meeting reserve, or even getting close. Oh well, there are worse things than being stuck with a nice MINI to drive.
