Can anyone tell me what that part is called?

I was going little fast on the highway yesterday..
I heard something fell off when I was speeding up...
After my driving, I found out that this part is missing..

It's called the "Right Column A Cover", but most people call it the "A-pillar cover". The part number for your '05 is 51137128158, and Pelican Parts sells it for $44.25.

Usually what happens is that when the windshield is replaced, the installer re-uses the existing covers, but they're not really meant to be re-used, so they eventually fly off at some inopportune time.

You can probably re-use them if you're careful not to break *any* of the clips/tabs, but they usually get broken. Often the glass installer will re-install the cover with double-sided tape, and the tape eventually lets go.

 

That was why.. I replaced my windshield recently..
