Usually it's about an inch off the ground. You really have to play with it and drive it a lot to get used to it. Here's the method I learned by.

Go to a Empty Parking Lot. Pull up the hand brake. With your engine on. Clutch it, shift to 1st gear. Don't give it any gas. Slowly let up your clutch ever so slightly and listen carefully while looking at the RPM. At some point, the RPM is going to drop a bit, your car will feel like it's starting to rumble, shudder. That's the "biting" point of your clutch and that's when you should be applying more gas. Good luck.

The clutch engagement spot cannot be adjusted in these cars. It does it automatically.

thanks for the info, mine grabbing at about 1 1/4" off the floor, i did the ebrake test when i got it to see where the clutch was, but being new to the MCS world im here to learn, so it sounds like the clutch is in good condition. on this forum does anyone know where someone has posted the service intervals for these machines? i know there has to be a 30-36k service!
thanks again!

If you want to know if your clutch is slipping there is a simple test. Pull up your hand brake. Put your car into 3rd gear, and try to drive off like your in first gear. The faster your car stalls, the more your clutch is grabbing. If your engine revs for a bit up to 2 to 3K RPM, you have a slipping clutch.

The clutch should have a fairly smooth engagement point. The pedal itself should feel smooth and not jerky or make noises.
